A woman from Calgary is on the level of the thousands of dollars after declaring that her vehicle was hit by a armored truck while the Calgary police tactical unit responded to an incident in the northwest of Calgary the last month.
Mackenzie Hardy says that his Hyundai accent was parked on the road outside his house on 75th Street NW when she and her boyfriend left the city for a few days, and when they returned on December 22, the vehicle was not where it left it.
She remembers taking to the streets and her boyfriend asking her where her car was. “And I say to myself,” What do you mean, where is my car? ” And we are getting closer and getting closer, and I said to myself: “Where’s my car?” “”
The neighbors living in the community of Bowness tell Global News that the tactical unit responded to an incident on December 21 in the same building where Hardy lives.
“It was the armored swat vehicle hit my car,” she said. “They left it on the sidewalk during the night.”

Samantha Ramsey lives in the region and says that she was walking her dog when the incident occurred.
“I just saw all the consequences, and there was a car that was pushed … like almost close to the fence there and there was the TAC vehicle in front of him,” said Ramsey.
In a statement, the City told Global News that it had “received a claim notice on January 15, 2025. The complaint is being examined and investigates in accordance with our usual process.”

Hardy says that since her vehicle was seized, she had to pay for a rental car, various journeys and additional gas for her boyfriend’s truck.
“(The police and the city of Calgary) can make their investigation into everything that happened because I know there was a big police incident that happened here,” said Hardy. “They can do it. Do your job, do your thing, but pay me so I can live my life.
