Jennifer Lyle, CEO of the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia, says seniors are being left in the dark. Last year, the organization says it provided support and education to more than 1,300 people in more than 200 rural and remote communities.

“And you have to keep in mind that these are people who can’t easily drive to a city center and have access to health services, or who maybe don’t even have an internet connection there where they live,” Lyle said. “So they really rely on print, and specifically mailed materials, to stay connected and informed.”
