A heartwarming incident took place at Istanbulat the Alfa veterinary clinic in Beylikduzu on January 13, when a stray animal dog I brought her puppy squeezed in his mouth against a veterinarian at the doors of the clinic.
At first it was thought he was dead, but later veterinarian Baturalp Dogan arrived and heard a slight heartbeat.
He said: “When I checked it with a needle we noticed a very slow heartbeat. That’s why I said, “There’s hope, maybe he’ll live,” and we started the fight.
Mr Dogan praised the dog’s extraordinary act and thought she may have seen members of the local community taking another of her puppies to the clinic, showing her it was a safe place.
Both puppies are now safe and under the supervision of the clinic.
