This past weekend was filled with non-stop college hoops action, and the FOX Sports forecaster Mike DeCourcy is back with its latest NCAA Tournament projections.
Tennessee (West), Duke (East), Auburn (South) and Iowa State (Midwest) remained the No. 1 seed in DeCourcy’s final bracket. The Vols were destroyed by the SEC enemy Florida last week, but Rick Barnes’ team bounced back with a nice victory over Texas last weekend.
Marquette, Alabama And Oregon remained in second place, while the Gators climbed to the second line after consecutive victories against Tennessee and Arkansas. In the meantime, Michigan State And Kentucky were propelled to third place, joining Kansas And Texas A&M.
Houston, Memphis, Purdue And Mississippi State are the fourth seed in DeCourcy’s latest projections.
As for the bubble, DeCourcy Texas Technology, New Mexico, Creighton And Iowa among its last four teams to participate in the tournament, while Texas, St. Bonaventure, Indiana And Georgetown are listed as DeCourcy’s first four teams out of the NCAA Tournament.
EMS, Arizona State, Penn State And Cincinnati are DeCourcy’s next four teams.
THE SECOND is the one with the most representatives in DeCourcy’s latest compilation, with 12 teams. THE Big Ten has 11 teams represented, while the Big 12 has seven teams in the tournament, according to DeCourcy. THE ACC has five teams, while the Great East has four. THE Mountain West has three teams in the mix, while the West Coast Conference has two teams.
