Meghan Markle’s return to Netflix has been postponed due to Wildfires in Southern California.
THE Duchess of Sussex revealed that its new series, “With Love, Meghan,” which was scheduled to premiere on January 15 on the streaming giant, has been postponed until March 4.
Markle, a Los Angeles native who attended the all-girls Immaculate Heart Catholic High School, requested to move the start of her show due to ongoing fires, including the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire.
“At the request of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and with the full support of Netflix, the release of the series – a heartfelt tribute to the beauty of Southern California – has been moved from its previously announced premiere date in January to March 4, due to the devastation caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles,” a Netflix representative confirmed to Fox News Digital.

“I thank my partners at Netflix for helping me delay the launch while we focus on the needs of those affected by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Markle said.
On Friday, Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, supported the victims and relief efforts when they met with Pasadena Mayor Victor Gordo.
“In recent days, forest fires Southern California raged through neighborhoods and devastated families, homes, schools, medical care centers and more – affecting tens of thousands of people from all walks of life. A state of emergency has been declared,” the two men wrote Thursday on their website.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have listed organizations on their site that are actively helping wildfire victims, including the Animal Wellness Foundation, which houses and cares for evacuated animals; Compton Cowboys, which provides emergency transportation services for horses, as well as Airbnb and 211LA, which have joined forces to provide free temporary housing to displaced people, among others.

The couple’s multi-year deal with Netflix came to fruition after they stepped away from royal duties and moved to California in 2020. They first released their explosive docuseries, “Harry and Meghan”, in 2022. The show recorded the largest single-day audience for any Netflix series since tracking began in October 2022.
A year later, they followed up with the documentary series “Heart of Invictus” in 2023 and produced “Polo” in 2024.
