Meghan Markle could soon face disappointing news as experts say Netflix should delay the release of her lifestyle show. With love, Meghan.
The show, in which Meghan cooks and enjoys gardening with her famous friends, was due to premiere on January 15, but experts say it should be postponed given the raging fires in Los Angeles which have burned tens of thousands of houses and left 16 dead.
Nick Ede, UK brand and culture expert, said Online mail: “I think the bosses at Netflix are going to have to make some important decisions, like whether to broadcast “With Love, Meghan” next week.”
He continued: “With the series focusing so much on California life, Los Angeles and Montecito, offering a glimpse into an ambitious and inspiring life, I suspect it will be pulled from its current schedule and delayed for at least a few months .”
He noted that airing such a show in such a “tragic and difficult” time would be considered “insensitive and tone-deaf”.
He added that With love, Meghanmay be released later as it is not a time sensitive show.
Phil added of Meghan Markle’s Netflix show: “Some critics had already criticized it and now it seems totally inappropriate. She had a lot of things to do and had been planning for months, even a few years, so it It’s a shame for her.”
