SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – Girl Scout cookie season is almost here, but before that comes the baking.
The Dakota Horizons Girl Scouts will host their Cookie University, which will teach Scouts several skills to help them with their business practices.
These skills include financial management, people skills and business ethics.
Girls will also learn about Digital Cookie, a mobile and online ordering platform that also helps them manage their business.
“Cookie University provides the tools girls need to become successful cookie entrepreneurs,” said Marla Meyer, CEO of Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons. “This is just one example of how the Girl Scout experience builds the next generation of leaders. »
Cookie University will take place at Augustana University on January 25.
Cookie sales will begin on February 10.
