Venu Sports, the virtual MVPD service offered by ESPN, FOX and Warner Bros. Discovery, will be interrupted. The collective decision of the three companies not to move forward with the proposed joint venture is effective immediately.

“After careful consideration, we have collectively agreed to terminate the Venu Sports joint venture and not launch the streaming service. In an ever-changing market, we determined it was best to meet the changing demands of sports fans by focusing on existing products and distribution channels. We are proud of the work that has been accomplished on Venu so far and grateful to the Venu staff, whom we will support throughout this transition period.
