TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – It’s part bowling alley, part arcade and a great place to catch a game. And that’s not all. The former Southwyck Lanes has undergone a multi-million dollar transformation. It’s now Amazingbowla place filled with all kinds of fun, games and fabulous food.
“There’s nothing like this around here,” said Michael Ducat, the owner.
Ducat said the nearly 70,000-square-foot space has been renovated from the ground up.
“This facility is designed for family fun,” Ducat said.
There’s everything from a huge arcade to laser tag and of course bowling. A game that many believe is good for your mental and physical health as well as your social life.
“We see that younger people want to go out in groups. Some people don’t go out alone, they go out in groups. It’s nice to see that coming back to where people want to go out and socialize and bowling provides that great opportunity,” Ducat said.
There are 40 tracks at Incredibowl. Eight of them are in a special VIP room. All aisles have a special LED video wall, sound system and lighting. There is also a bar and a restaurant.
“We have a sports bar type atmosphere in the restaurant with a 9×12 video wall. We also have 48 65-inch televisions. It’s a good place to watch football or any sporting event,” Ducat said. “We have a scratch kitchen. We have a leader. So the food is not that of your average bowling center or sports bar. You can come here and relax, have a nice meal and a drink and sit back and watch the game. You can come alone or in a group.
There is also a play area for older children.
“We also have an adult play area where we have darts, shuffleboard and pool tables,” Ducat said.
Incredibowl is open 364 days a year. Ducat said the only day it was closed was Christmas Eve.
