Contract logistics provider DHL Supply Chainwhich is part of the DHL Groupexpanded its reverse logistics solutions by acquiring Inmar Supply Chain Solutions.
Inmar is a division of Inmar Intelligence and a returns solutions provider for the retail e-commerce industry, according to a Thursday (January 9) press release.
The acquisition will add 14 returns centers and 800 associates to the DHL Supply Chain business, which currently includes 520 warehouses supported by 52,000 associates, according to the release.
According to the release, it will also strengthen the company’s returns capabilities by adding product remarketing, recall management and supply chain performance analysis.
