It’s almost time to say “hello” to Hoda Kotbfor the last time.
Before its final Today appearance on January 10, the co-presenter – who announcement in September that she would be leaving the morning news show after 17 years — gave a better glimpse of what her next chapter holds.
“I’m starting a wellness app and business that will involve retreats and a podcast and all sorts of things that we can come together and do things that I love,” Hoda said on the Jan. 6 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. “It’s not like going to Mexico with your daughters, which is fun, but it’s something that when you leave you’re like, ‘Oh my God.’ I feel transformed. I feel different.’
And while the 60-year-old said she’s still “in the building process” of this venture, she also admitted that her new venture came about after initial doubts about the wellness space.

“I started doing stuff that I thought was woo-woo and weird,” she continued. “Then all of a sudden, while I was doing it, I was like, ‘Wait, I feel calmer. I feel better. Woo-woo makes you feel good.
In addition to her new wellness project, Hoda, which shares girls HaleyJoy7, and I hope Catherine5, with an ex Joel Schiffman– also expressed her wish to spend more time with her daughters.
“I found out that in my town there is a 5:30 p.m. Soul Cycle class that I’m going to start,” she said. E! News in October. “Then I’m going to go back and feed my kids breakfast and make a coffee to go in my Yeti.”
She added: “I’m going to walk my children through the beautiful streets to their school and I’m going to say goodbye to them.”

“Obviously I had my children late in life,” she says. said when it was announced in September, “and I thought they deserved a bigger share of my time than I did.” I feel like we only have a limited amount of time.”
