EXCLUSIVE: Fox has a new global boss of TV distribution.
The company hired Fifth Season’s Prentiss Fraser as president of Fox Entertainment Global. He comes two years after the launch of the global commercial branch and in the midst of a hiring search to lead the team responsible for selling shows such as the one led by Joel McHale Animal Control and Dan Harmon’s animated series Krapopolis to international broadcasters and streamers.
Fox Entertainment CEO Rob Wade believes investing in international distribution is key to growing his studio and will strengthen its network content strategy, helping the company on the global stage.

Fraser was most recently president of television distribution at Fifth Season, formerly known as Endeavor Content. She joins the companywhich distributed titles such as Murder Day beforein 2019 as EVP, international TV sales before being promoted in 2022. Other series sold included Max’s Vice-Tokyo, Apple Breakup and that of Hulu Nine complete strangers.
Fifth Season responded by promoting Jennifer Ebell to head international television sales. Currently executive vice president of EMEA sales, she will take on the new role of executive vice president of television distribution on March 31, when Fraser leaves the new role. Ebell will report to co-CEOs Chris Rice and Graham Taylor, who called her an “insightful and strategic leader” and a “tastemaker with deep industry relationships.”
Fraser had previously worked at another Fox division – Fox Networks Group – as executive vice president and general manager of content distribution before it was sold as part of the Disney deal.
Before joining this company, she worked for 14 years at eOne.
At Fox, she will oversee global distribution, formats and off-platform sales for the Fox network and Fox Entertainment Studios, which includes its scripted content unit, Fox Alternative Entertainment, animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, Studio Ramsay Global from Gordon Ramsay, TMZ and independent studios. Last year, Fox chief Wade restructured his divisionsmaking Fernando Szew, founder of MarVista Entertainment before its acquisition by the company, the director of Fox Entertainment Studios. The move sparked Wade’s search for a high-profile international television sales executive to lead the unit.
