Nearly seven months after a fire broke out at an abandoned house in central Edmonton, police have released images of two people of interest investigators would like to speak with.
Emergency crews were called to a fire in a vacant property in the area of 96th Street and 105th Avenue around 9 a.m. on June 12, 2024.
Firefighters found two people at the scene who had been seriously injured. Both victims were transported to hospital, where they died from their injuries.
The fire was deemed suspicious.

“We are confident that a member of the public will be able to help us identify one or both of these men so that we can speak to them about any information they may have about what happened,” said Det. Mike Rott of the Edmonton Police Service Investigative Response Team.
“If you have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact police immediately.”
