In a drastic move, the United States announced sanctions against Iran and Russia, accusing them of interference in the upcoming 2024 US elections. The Treasury Department has classified both entities as destabilizing agents threatening the American electoral integrity.

Amid the ongoing conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed gratitude to the United States, reaffirming its commitment to countering Russian aggression. As Ukraine grapples with a protracted invasion, Zelenskiy has stressed the importance of force to guarantee peace.

Meanwhile, geopolitical tensions continue to escalate as Europe prepares for a halt to the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine. This shutdown, effective immediately, marks the end of a long-standing energy relationship that once guaranteed the continent’s economic stability.
