Finalists selected for dean of the College of Health and Human Sciences will present on campus

Purdue has announced four finalists for its next dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Sciences.

The finalists, who will make presentations on campus and hold question-and-answer sessions starting December 11, are:

  • Thomas J. Gould, Jean Phillips Shibley Professor of Biobehavioral Health and head of the Department of Biobehavioral Health at Penn State’s College of Health and Human Development. Presentation and question-and-answer session: 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., December 11.
  • Tamera Schneider, chair of the psychology department at Arizona State University. Presentation and question-and-answer session: 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., December 16.
  • Aaron Bowman, professor and director of Purdue’s School of Health Sciences and interim dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Sciences. Presentation and question-and-answer session: 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., December 17.
  • Steven Broglio, professor of kinesiology, neurology, physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Michigan; associate dean, graduate affairs, School of Kinesiology; and director of the Michigan Concussion Center. Presentation and question-and-answer session: 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., January 7.

All presentations will take place in the Pfendler Hall of Agriculture, Room 241, 715 W. State St. in West Lafayette. Presentations will be recorded and available for viewing on the Office of the Provost website. A link will be available for individuals to provide feedback on the candidates.
