In a closing argument, defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo made fun of the government’s case and lowered the agents who seized hundreds of bottles of lubricant and astroglide baby oil to its properties when it was starting a presentation that should last several hours.

The lawyer said the prosecutors had “strongly exaggerated” evidence of the lifestyle of swingers and the three to combine it with the consumption of recreational drugs and call it a racketeering plot.

He said that Combs and Ventura had a “loving and beautiful relationship”, although “complicated”.
“If the conspiracy in racketeers had a opposite, it would be their relationship … They were deeply in love with each other,” said Agnifilo.

Agnifilo admitted that video clearly shows domestic violence, but he challenged the theory of accusation that the assault was proof of sexual trafficking by force.
