While Global News continues to investigate expenses in the city of Richmond, there was a disturbing incident involving Mayor Malcolm Brodie.
It happened Tuesday morning in a playground in Steveston.
Global News attended as guests and, in addition to covering the event, we tried to ask the mayor Brodie on a European junket taken by the employees of the Ovale Olympique and the City.
In a breathtaking turn of events, Mayor Brodie caught our camera.

The person of relations with the media of Richmond intervened, saying that the mayor was sensitive to our reports on Monday that the city and the Olympic oval had refused our repeated attempts to obtain costs of the 2022 Junket, which later prompted us to file a request for freedom of information.
Sources inside the oval have now told us that eight people went to Olympic events in Spain and Switzerland and that the trip cost around $ 77,787.

“Unfortunately, many politicians across the country know that they cannot stole public money in a blatant way and therefore use the advantages and junkets as another form of corruption, which is really equivalent to the flight of public money because there is no reason for most of the trips they make,” said the co -founder of Democracy Watch, Duff Conacher.
After Brodie left the playing field, her public relations person contacted Global News and asked on Wednesday a seated interview for the mayor.
