Bangor, Maine (WABI) – Administrator Kelly Loeffler and others from the US Small Business Administration have visited certain companies in Maine.
This afternoon, they stopped at Treworgy Orchards in Levant to defend the “Big Beautiful Bill” of President Trump.
After a visit to the field and the picking of strawberries, Loeffler explained how the bill could help companies like Treworgy, including tax reductions and no tax on advice and overtime.
“The only major bill creates a million jobs. It creates $ 750 billion in economic opportunities in the main streets, on family farms like this, and it is extremely necessary. And every day, this bill does not spend one day less than small businesses and families do not obtain the advantages of this bill, “said Loeffler.
“I think it’s good for someone who spends a lot of time in Washington to go out and see what’s going on in the field to be able to hear people directly that their work has an impact,” added one of the owners of Treworgy Family Orchards, Jonathan Kenerson.
The group also stopped at the Moody’s collision center in Bangor today.
The budget bill has adopted the Chamber by a vote and is currently in the American Senate.
