Broward County, Florida. – Many high school students already have their hands with academics and extracurricular activities, but we have found a special teenager who is already a self-published author by focusing on science behind wild animals.

Whether she practiced piano before a major competition or dance in community events, Anneliese Hsiao, 16, is obsessed with pets.

“I have always loved animals,” she said. “People called me the dog whisper even if I was not allowed to have a dog at home.”

But this early teenager is painfully persistent.

“I wrote a little notebook value of all the reasons why we should get a dog, all the breeds would suit a house, like a westie,” she said.

And in a few months, his mother brought back an adorable little girl named Mochi, followed by her brother Matcha.

“The animals are attracted to her and she is attracted to animals – it has always been like this,” said Leslie Hsiao, the mother of Anneliese.

This is what brought Anneliese Hsiao to the Humane Society of Broward County when she was only 5 years old.

She had been there for years when she had an idea to combine her love for animals with her scout projects.

“So I decided to disappoint my Girl Scout Silver Award with the Humane Society and I crocheted covers for dogs that had only towels in their cars,” said Anneliese Hsiao.

But of course, it was now time for the Gold Award.

“This is my pet safety book. It has four chapters on heat, fauna, plants and natural disasters,” said Anneliese Hsiao, showing that animal lawyer for the local section 10 Jacey Birch his book.

Anneliese HSIAO is a junior of the American Heritage High School and she collaborated with the staff of the Humane Society to write and publish a book on all that animal parents must know to keep their little ones in safety in the south of Florida, where 30% of the deaths for pets are avoidable.

“Someone so young, so mature who was able to create such a useful resource for animal owners, it was wonderful to be able to work with her,” said Dr Cynthia Rogers, a human company from the Verternian Broward County. “We have helped Anneliese, but it helps us because we provide this resource to all our adopters.”

This includes situations as if a pet puppy goes after a Bufo toad, which can be fatal for a dog.

“My scientific research project My first year of high school, I tried to look for treatments for the ingestion of toxin by toxin Bufo,” said Anneliese Hsiao.

Added Leslie Hsiao: “Annie has always been exceptional to everything she does, she puts all her heart in everything.”

Now, the young science lover is on a pre-medical track for his last year. She will be a advisor and a scout model for younger scouts and plans to be a veterinary surgeon one day.

“It’s just crazy to think that I could do something like that and he really taught me that I am able to make a change and others are too,” she said.
