Take advantage of the bus routing software to improve school transport. Two years ago, delays in school bus in the Roanoke City public school district in Virginia made the students arrive at school more than 45 minutes late. The district has taken advantage of the Tyler’s transport solution to create a new system of bus stops, routes and schedules that would better serve students and families. Since the implementation of the solution, the district has rationalized the number of bus stops from 11,000 to 2,700 – a reduction of 75% – and has maintained a performance of 95% in time.
Scan the inherited paper processes to rationalize operations. To respond to workload requests, the Virginia Department of Corrections Investigation Investigation Unit (BIU) needed a software solution that would rationalize operations for its 8,000 background inquiries each year. The exchange of paper processes inherited for the investigation application on Tyler’s history has enabled the BIU to increase treatment speeds, improve registers holding and eliminate road dams associated with the management of physical recordings.
Highly configurable payment processing. Our government payment platform, operated by 9,000 agencies in the United States, establishes the standard for end-to-end transaction excellence and payments processing. In Virginia alone, we treat more than $ 2 billion a year. When our partners need a payment option, they know that the Tyler system can connect to almost any third -party billing system or is transparently integrated into invoicing and Tyler cashier software. Connected government means connected communities
Virginia is not the only state to see this success thanks to a strategic partnership with Tyler.
Success was also seen in Virginie-Western, Who launched a mobile application for the recording of vehicles and driving license renewals, taking advantage of the resident engagement platform of Tyler. Known as “WVDMV EZ”, the application provides a single window solution to access the DMV services in Virginie-Western travel, by reducing pedestrian traffic to brick and mortar DMV sites, optimization of department’s resources and improving the overall customer experience.
In the meantime, the New Jersey (DEP) environmental protection department Implementation of the Tyler’s increased field operations solution (AFO) to transform monitoring, compliance and application of work in the field. Since the implementation, the AFO mobile inspection application has helped seven DEP inspectors to perform more than 9,500 inspections in person each year, reducing the inspection time from two to three hours to a few minutes.
More can be done – together
The government can be more rationalized – and residents are equipped to have more positive government experience – when digital government systems are built to talk to each other.
