The Ogeechee Technical College Foundation is pleased to announce a $50,000 endowment from the Rockin’ Out Alzheimer’s Foundation to support college scholarships for students pursuing health science degrees, with two scholarships awarded every year.
The Ogeechee Technical College Foundation is proud to announce the creation of a $50,000 endowment by the Rockin’ Out Foundation for Alzheimer’s Disease. The donation will be used to provide scholarships to Ogeechee Tech students pursuing a degree in a health sciences program.
Two scholarships will be awarded each year of a minimum of $1,500 each.
We are extremely honored to expand our long-standing partnership with the Rockin’ Out Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation through the creation of this scholarship,” said Larry Maysvice president for university advancement at Ogeechee Technical College. “Together, we strengthen our community by equipping caregivers with the expertise and compassion needed to provide exceptional care to those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other critical health conditions.
Recipients of the Rockin’ Out Alzheimer’s Disease Foundation Scholarship must be enrolled in a health science degree program such as the Nurse Aide Certificate or Health Care Assistant Certificate, and future consideration will be awarded to students working in the geriatric environment or working in geriatric care.
