Boca Raton, Florida (CBS12) – After a commercial dispute, a man from Miami is accused of kidnapping his ex-partner in a boca Raton Life Time fitness and flying $ 30,000, firearms and a rolex.
According to the Boca Raton (BRPD) police department on June 9, Alberto Iturrey, 39, used a taser to master his trading partner, forcing him in a truck under the threat of a firearm and demanding ransom money.
Commercial transactions
The next day, the victim made an oath to the police, describing years of financial relations with Iturrey, a long -standing friend of high school.
Using the funds of the victim’s mother, the officers say that the trio has launched a lender on wages, a firearm business and, more recently, real estate companies.
The victim told the police that after having noticed a lack of transparency in the real estate agreement, which concluded in January, he and his mother resumed $ 140,000 and cut the ties with Iturrey – repressing angry benefits by BRPD.
According to the affidavit of the probable cause, Iturrey is indebted, has mastered credit cards and began to borrow from the family.
In April, the victim said that Iturrey presented himself at his workplace in Fort Lauderdale acting irregularly and crying. After being invited to leave, the victim believed that Iturrey had started to plot to hurt him.
Removal
At that time, Iturrey sent Whatsapp threatening messages to the victim.
“Whatever happens from there, the consequences of your actions and your decisions because I would not do that to you,” said Iturrey in a transcribed WhatsApp message. “So I want to consider him as a threat, pay me what we agree, and we can move forward. If you don’t do it, then what’s going on.”
Around 7:00 am on June 9, the officers say that Iurrey returned to his car to Life Time Fitness when he felt two degrees Taser at the back of his neck.
After being tassed, he fell on the ground, where he saw Iturrey standing above him. At this point, the police say that the suspect released a handgun and pointed him to the victim and forced him to enter his car, where Iturrey handed him.
The victim told the police that Iurrey seemed very serious with cold eyes as if he “wanted to kill him”.
Because the victim’s hands were handcuffed at the front, he was able to make a call to 911 with his mobile phone.
When Iturrey noticed that his former trading partner moved, he asked what he was doing and asked for his phone, later missing the distributor’s return calls.
He then called his mother and asked him to wire $ 50,000 for a commercial transaction, leaving the details of his kidnapping.
When the bank was not opened, the victim suggested traveling a Starbucks at Deerfield Beach because he knew they had cameras.
Meanwhile, Iturrey would have told the victim that he had attached a tracker to his car and that he had studied him and his family, according to the police.

Burglary
The victim then tried to kill more time, suggesting that they are waiting for his mother to leave and go home to Deerfield Beach instead.
Once arrived at her mother’s home, the victim would have led him to the safe, where Iturrey – still armed with a weapon in his belt – obtained $ 30,000 in cash, a Rolex watch, two to three rifles, eight handguns and ammunition.
The kidnapper and the kidnappee then fled the house with Iturrey returning the victim to the fitness parking lot for life around 10 a.m.
He told the police that he did not want to immediately inform the authorities because he did not want to put his life in danger. Instead, the agents say he has consulted friends and returned the next day to ask for life surveillance images. When they refused, the victim contacted BRPD.
Dismantling
The detectives say they have confirmed the victim’s declaration with life surveillance images and a testimony of Starbucks employees, confirming the vehicle as a van which belonged to the father of Iturrey.
The follow -up system found under the Tesla of the victim, photos of the victim’s cuts and lacerations, and his blood -stained clothes were placed in police evidence.
Based on the evidence, the police found a probable cause to reserve Alberto Iturrey with armed kidnappings, a flight with a firearm, an aggravated battery, a flight of firearms, a flight of more than $ 20,000 and a falsification of a witness.
