In the celebration of ScienceFest 2025, the retired and senior organization of Los Alamos (Larso), the Los Alamos Teen Center and the Samizdat bookstore and the tea house will present “Science of Tea”, from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, June 22 at the Betty Ehart Senior Activity Center.
This year’s theme is “Boston Tea Party” and explores the links between science and history! Savor five unique teas carefully selected by Samizdat staff. Each tea is associated with a delicious refreshment prepared by dead chefs. These small bites range from tasty to sweet and are designed to highlight the profile of flavor distinct from each tea.
The costumes are strongly encouraged! Join the staff and volunteers to dress you to enjoy food and science in a fun atmosphere. This adventure begins at the end of the 18th century America, but do not let it limit creativity. Participants are encouraged to show their best vision of a retro-futuristic American revolution.
