Birmingham, ala. – A new chapter of Live Entertainment for Birmingham begins today with the large opening of the Coca-Cola amphitheater. The celebration started this morning with remarks by local officials and a performance by Red Mountain Theater music. The event offered fans a first overview of the last city’s music place, located north of the Uptown Entertainment District, before its first show later this week.
The outdoor location of 9,300 dwellings is a collaboration effort between the Birmingham-Jefferson (BJCC) convention complex, the city of Birmingham, the county of Jefferson and Live Nation. With more than 30 shows planned for its inaugural season, the amphitheater is about to become a key stop for national tours and a dynamic gathering place for the local community. He will also organize community and private events.

Designed by the Live Nation internal global design group, BluePrint Studio, the Coca-Cola amphitheater was built by emphasizing the improvement of the experience of fans and artists. Customers can expect a higher sound, high food and drinking offers and premium hospitality. Box holders will appreciate seasonal menus and focused on the chef in the vinyl room show presented by regions and areas of the suite. Behind the scenes, the artistic areas present salons and collaborative spaces which offer an environment welcoming to artists and teams.
As part of today’s celebration, Live Nation has recognized its partnership with Kulturecity for non-profit based in Birmingham, making the amphitheater Coca-Cola a certified sensory place.

The first official performance at the Coca-Cola amphitheater is scheduled for June 22, invited by the actor Matt Rife. Summer programming includes performances by Dave Matthews Band on June 24, Def Leppard on June 25, Jason Isbell and Unit 400 on June 28, Big Time Rush on July 9, Alabama Shakes on July 26, Rod Stewart on August 2, September 14, on August 14 with JA Rule on September 18, among others.
