Chicago (WLS) – Governor JB Pritzker says he is not one of the people on a list of politicians that the police discovered after arresting the alleged Minnesota legislator, Vance Boelter.
The police have found a list of minnesota legislators and another less formal list which contained names of politicians from Illinois.

Pritzker and the Illinois state police were in contact with Illinois legislators about the security measures they can take. Even if, it seems, no one looked like a success list, but rather on a list of people wanted online.
However, there are concerns about the possibility of copying attacks.
Pritzker says that he was informed by the FBI police and the state of Illinois about the murder and fire by Minnesota politicians and their spouses.
And although there have been a list of dozens of other Minnesota Democratic politicians on what could be a success list, the suspect also had another list of people, including Illinois politicians whom the governor described as a male list.
“They recovered devices and other articles that had 600 names, more than 600 names, on them,” said Pritzker. “There are people from Illinois, like Iowa and others, but very little. And still, nobody, the FBI specifically told me that these people are not targets.”
Pritzker was in Minnesota a few hours before the shooting occurred, serving as a speaker of honor of a Gala of the Democratic Party on Friday evening who was assisted by Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, who were both shot.

“I received a call very early in the morning on Saturday from Governor Walz, who is a good friend, and called me to tell me what had happened a few hours earlier,” said Pritzker.
According to an FBI affidavit, the agents have recovered weapons from the suspect’s car, as well as a spiral notebook with websites to find addresses of people.
Illinois legislators denounce violence and leaders warn members of being vigilant.
“This type of composure, the calculated execution is a level which, in someone’s home in the middle of the night, is a level of which I do not know before,” said state senator John Curran, republican leader of the Senate.
“We continue to raise them because violence has no place in our public speech, and that is why we continue, in Illinois, continuing to rise. And even when we do not agree, we can be unpleasant civilly,” said State senator Elgie Simms, a democrat representing Chicago.
But there are concerns about any copy crimes in Illinois or elsewhere.
“Copycat is always a concern. You know, when things like this receive media coverage, unfortunately, some people consider this as an example of the way of being sadly famous. It is therefore something that we take very seriously,” said Curran.
Illinois state police said they verify the information found in the suspect’s documents and electronics regarding Illinois politicians, and will keep them informed as additional information will be available.
