Clifford Brown Jazz Festival Basics

Wilmington jazz is unique due to its size combined with the fact that it is free.
If you want to post with a lawn chair on the grass on the square, it is good to arrive a little early on Friday and Saturday. But, generally, there is a lot of space for people who bring their own seats.
In addition, although there are many sellers offering all kinds of food and beer, nobody takes a look if you bring your own little picnic provisions. Personally, I like to bring some cold beers, perhaps a box of wine to share, as well as a bag of fruit or a similar snack.
And while acts generally end around 9 or 10 p.m., music does not stop. There are various JAM sessions with local musicians in different places near Rodney Square. It is an ideal place to see local musicians, meet new people and spend time late at night.
