Double talk about the science of NASA

Keith note: Last night, NASA SMD AA Nicky Fox received the Award necklace for the NASA Solar probe – an amazing mission that literally touched the sun. Greg Autry, candidate for the NASA Greg AUTRY controller congratulated her with a tweet addition “Go the science of NASA”. This morning the Twitter account @nasaspaceci announced that it was closed and swallowed a greater effort somewhere in NASA. Yet another example of how NASA FY 2026’s budget and other administration decrees and memory memos have increased to NASA scientific budget, cancel missions, eliminate external research grants, stiff in other space agencies with international agreements and reduce staff. Oddly, (soon) administrative staff as others are trying to rent the science of NASA. Some members of NASA political staff even try to credit the missions launched and launched by other presidents. Alas, others will chair the cancellation of all these scientific activities and he will write brilliant tweets on what he has cut. These are now all the flags and footprints. Science is a fashionable word used as a hashtag window in social media. If Greg Autry wants to encourage science to NASA, he will also have to support him after his arrival.
