UNITED KINGDOM Rapper Stormzy officially launched #Merky Films and unveiled the first project of the company, Tall man.
The British musician, whose real name is Michael Omari, joined forces with Apple to produce a short film entirely shot on an iPhone 16 Pro. Tall man is led by Aneil Karia and features Stormzy in her very main role of the main role.

The short film tells the poignant and fictitious story of Tenzman, a former rap star who is now sailing in an agitated and uncertain chapter of his life.
“When two playful young boys – Klevis and Tyrell – enter unexpectedly in his carefully guarded world, the improbable trio forges a transformative link, which aroused the dormant musical passion of Tenzman, impulsive joy and fragile optimism”, reads a synopsis of the plot. “Mix humor, vulnerability and silent transformation, the film carefully explores the themes of reconnection with your younger and gratitude ego.”
Based on the momentum of his other companies such as #Merky Books, the #Merky Foundation and #Merky Football Club, the new company marks the entry of the singer-songwriter in the world of cinema and television.
#Merky Films also develops a dramatic series and a seminal biopic, the company announced on Thursday, as well as documentaries, an animation project and an immutable reproach.
