St. Louis sports teams collect $ 155,000 for the recovery of the tornado

ST. Louis, MO., June 10, 2025 – Today, the Cardinals of St. Louis as well as the Battlehawks of St. Louis, the St. Louis Blues and the Saint-Louis City SC announced that $ 155,000 had been collected in support of the recovery of Tornado in St. Louis during a special broadcast of the Cardinals vs Dodgers of June 6 on Fanduel Sports Network. The total includes important contributions from Anheuser-Busch and Fanduel.

“St. Louis is a united sports city in its commitment to the community,” said Michael HallVice-president of Community Relations and Executive Director of Cardinals Care. “We are grateful to our colleagues in professional sports teams, to our Fanduel Sports Network, KMOV, Matrix Midwest and KMOX, our partner Anheuser-Busch and, above all, our fans to support our tornado recovery fund, which will help support reconstruction efforts in our benevolent city.”

“The story of Anheuser-Busch is deeply linked to our hometown, where our employees, our family, our friends and our members of our community appreciate our beers while encouraging their favorite sports teams,” said Cesar VargasHead of external affairs, Anheuser-Busch. “We are proud to support the Tornado recovery fund in partnership with St. Louis sports teams as part of our continuous efforts to help our city continue to rebuild and recover.”

St. Louis sports fans supported the effort by submitting exclusive experiences and articles given by each team, by buying 50/50 raffle tickets, mysteries’ dedicated baseball and cardinals and a gift directly to a Tornado recovery fund created by Cardinals Care, St. Louis Cardinals Community Foundation.
