Fourteen years after the launch to help make a breach in the problem of inflated chronic diseases of the United States, Omada Health became public on Friday, raising $ 150 million to just over 1 billion dollars.
Before becoming a public, Omada raised $ 450 million to investors because he helped normalize digital health and convinced an impressive number of people to try it. Omada has more than 2,000 customers, including employers and health plans, and around 680,000 people registered in its programs.
Despite this, the company is still losing money.
