Nurses from 27 dignity health establishments in California and Nevada voted in favor of a new agreement with patient care and workplace protections
The authorized nurses of Commonspirit / Dignity Health Facility in California and Nevada voted massively in favor of the ratification of a new four -year contract, announced the California Nurses Association / National Nurses Organing Committee (CNA / NNOC), an affiliate of National Nurses United. The fair and fair agreement recognizes the hard work, the dedication and the essential contributions of the nurses represented by CNA / NNOC. The vote ended on June 5.
“With this essential step, we can now turn our collective objective towards the wider social problems that affect our communities – including the urgent need for human immigration reform, to protect health care against additional reductions and to oppose harmful federal reductions that threaten essential public services,” said Phil Penn, RN in the Intensive Care Unit Beach, California.
Key factory facts of the new agreement:
- All existing patient care and workplace protections are maintained.
- Increase in wages at all levels, with additional market adjustments in certain regions.
- Complete preservation of health services and health services for retirees.
- No concessions or take -out dishes.
The new contract will be in force from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2029.

CNA / NNOC represents more than 13,500 nurses authorized in 27 joint health establishments / dignity across California and Nevada.
