Square launched an artificial intelligence assistant (AI) that can answer sellers’ questions about how to use the Square commercial technology platform and their own business trends.
AI assistant, Square IA, is now available in public beta for all sellers in the United States and is integrated into the square dashboard, said the company in a Tuesday, June 3) blog.
“Our goal is to give each seller their own virtual employee who knows each element of their business”, ” Willem Avésaid the world’s global product manager in the post.
When asked questions about the use of the platform, the AI assistant is looking for its knowledge base and provides step-by-step instructions, according to the post.
To answer questions about the seller’s business, Square AI uses the seller’s relevant data in Square to provide the answer. He can answer questions about sales, customers, staff and transactions, allowing sellers to optimize staff opening hours, identify slow stocks, maximize the best sellers and recognize the best customers, said the publication.
The company will extend these capacities throughout the year, depending on the position.
“We believe that the best exploration of data is conversational,” said Avé in the position. “We want to allow the curiosity of sellers to understand different parts of their business.”
The AI is also built to protect data from sellers, according to the post. To protect data within the company, the AI assistant is only available for account owners and administrators. In addition, Square never sends any information sensitive to model suppliers or partners, and it guarantees that no data processed by third -party companies is kept outside of square systems or used for any type of training, said the position.
“With Square IA, sellers may believe that their data is protected by the same security infrastructure that protects billions from square transactions,” said Avé in the position.
This new feature joins several tools fueled in AI added to its platform in the past, especially Descriptions of products generated by AI And Background generated by AI For websites.
