The commanders practiced without the Large Terry McLaurin receiver last week, but neither his quarter nor his head coach spoke for much concern about the absence of McLaurin des ota.

McLaurin is in the last year of his contract, which explains why he retired from volunteers. Head coach Dan Quinn said he had regularly communicated with McLaurin in recent weeks and added that the Wideout has had a “great off-season”.

The quarter-Arrière Jayden Daniels said that McLaurin should take care of the commercial side of things and that he knows that the sea will also follow football issues.

“Me and Terry have a good relationship outside of football,” said Daniels, via a transcription of the team. “Obviously, he must manage what he must manage, but that does not change anything, the fact that he is part of our fraternity. We know that Terry works and everything. We must go better and he knows that he must improve every day.”

McLaurin has experienced his fifth consecutive season with at least 77 catches and 1,000 yards in 2024 and he caught 13 career touches, so there are reasons to think that commanders would move to make sure that it remains in Washington far beyond the 2025 campaign. The time of an agreement to conclude this takes place in the air, and it probably means that McLaurin will not be there as long as presence is not necessary.
