ROPP Triplett Business Plan Competition has rewarded talent and innovation of regional startups

May 30 Press Commission__ The Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE) is proud to announce the winners of the Triplett 2025 Ropp business plan, which was held on April 29. The annual competition highlights emerging entrepreneurs from the whole region, presenting their creativity, their commitment and its potential for a long -term impact.

1st place: Furry Tales Mobile Atelier
An animal experience in mobile stuffed animals on a theme bus, Furry Tales offers creative adventures based on stories that encourage literacy and the pleasure of the eco-conscious for children during holidays and events.

2nd place: Laptops worship
This brand of online Christian clothing presents licensed words of contemporary Christian music, offering elegant clothes and based on confession and lifestyle for everyday worship.

3rd place: empowerment of integration solutions (EIS)
EIS supports the communities of immigrants from Ohio by Creole / French interpretation, the training of the workforce and the Cultural Council – the gaps of language and opportunity with services to community root.

Additional finalists included:

Adkins Entertainment LLC
Owner of “Abstract Space”, a flexible place of event in Ottawa, Ohio with business expansion plans.

Az Woodworking
A personalized carpentry shop in ADA, specializing in hand -made furniture and kitchen cabinets.

Zac Kohli Realtor Corp
A real estate company focused on residential and commercial real estate solutions through Ohio.

The competition was judged by a panel of experienced business and community leaders:

Larry Triplett, entrepreneur and founder of several companies, including Yodel.TODAY, is the son of ROPP Triplett – one of the original founders of the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs.

Jed Metzger, former CEO of the County Chamber of Commerce of Lima / Allen and current CEO of Lima Chamber Foundation, brings decades of leadership in business and economic development.

Tammy Gladwell, Vice-President of Diamond Manufacturing of Bluffon, has been with the company since its foundation in 2010. It also sits on the board of directors of Allen Economic Development Group (AEDG) and secretary of the board of directors of the ECB.

To qualify, companies must have been three or less and finish the series of information on small businesses offered by the Small Business Development Center of the Rhodes State College and organized locally by the Bluffon Center for Entrepreneurs. The finalists presented their business plans before the jury, in competition for the financing of startups, mentoring and exhibition.

“We are inspired by the passion and the objective that each entrepreneur has brought to this competition,” said Jim Enneking, executive director of the Bluffon Center for Entrepreneurs. “These companies reflect innovation, resilience and the anxious spirit of the community that make the ecosystem of small businesses in our region so strong.”
