Tom: We started somewhere around 1986. We praised a hotel in the Catskills and Jouisis d&D throughout the weekend.

Michael: Eat every known junk food of humanity. And I remember, my wife is eight months pregnant and the phone rings.

Tom: We are all sitting there knowing what it could be. And he said, “Are you sure?”

Michael: “I don’t really want to abandon the game right now, we’re in the midst of something.”

Tom: “Yeah, we are in the middle of a battle.”

And we say to each other, “Do you laugh at me?” Do you unravel! I tell you at home. ”

Michael: But these are the things that really bring us closer as a group.

Tom: Absolutely.

Michael: You fight with women or something else. So we have also become our own group therapy with each other.

Tom: That’s right. Uh, the Master of the Dungeon, Steve and I were always close friends. He was the best man at my first marriage. I would use uh, combinations of his name as my passwords.

Michael: (laugh) Can you tell me then, what I call divorce, or the schism that happened during our last time we played?

Tom: Well, you speak, we play once on zoom during the years cocovated. And Steve and I never called me Tom and I never called him Steve. We had a nickname

Michael: (laughs) that we cannot say on the radio.

Tom: that we will not say on the radio.

And he said to me: “Tom, it’s your turn.” Who devil is Tom?

Michael: Yeah.

Tom: When he used my name like that, something was wrong.

I immediately called it. He did not resume. And then he sent me an email. And the first line was: “Obviously, it is Trump.”

The main thing was to know how my support for Trump was unacceptable for him and, basically, “I cannot be friends with you right now”.

At this point, partly by anger, I admit it, I decided to withdraw from the group.

Michael: When it happened, it took me completely offset.

Let me tell you how I manage this thing. Because I look at our country, I look at myself and me, and I would only focus on the differences. But then I’m waiting for a minute. Of the 10,000 things that make up a human being, we have 20 things with which we are in great disagreement, the 9,980 other things on which we both agree.

Tom: Yeah. If you live in certainty all the time and I don’t just talk about politics now, I mean certainty about anything.

Michael: Yeah, of course. Yankees against Mets, right?

Tom: Yeah, yankees against food, anyway, you cut yourself off from … the possibilities

Michael: Yeah. Thomas, I love you. Uh, and I want to bring you back to the game because the group could use you. Another character to be struck by the arrows.

So I’m glad we had this opportunity.

Tom: Yeah. Thank you my friend.
