The police in Moody PortBritish Columbia, arrested a 48-year-old naked man on Saturday evening after assaulting a stranger and then armed himself with a knife in a lively restaurant.
The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. on May 24 in Rocky Point Park, a popular area by the water in the Vancouver suburb.

According to police, several 9-1-1 calls were made by reporting that a naked man had attacked another man in the park. The suspect then ran in a neighboring restaurant, where he would have picked up a knife and started to threaten people.
The police arrived on the scene within two minutes and were able to stop the suspect nearby without any other incident.
He was placed in pre -trial detention, police said.
“This incident occurred in a very busy part of our community and, therefore, we have already spoken with a certain number of witnesses,” said Const. Sam Zacharias in a press release. “Fortunately, no one has undergone serious injuries.”
