A longtime Madison place for entertainment and family events has closed its doors for good.
Insanity Complex, 100 Skate Park Drive, announced Thursday on social networks that he had closed immediately.
“This difficult decision was taken with great care, and we are deeply grateful to our customers, employees and partners for your support,” said an article on his Facebook page. “We loved being a place where families met, friends laughed and milestones have been celebrated … We hope that the memories are really unforgettable.”
The sudden announcement attracted heat to social networks, with several posters on The Facebook page of the place Request reimbursements from the upcoming events they said they paid. No public response was given on the page early on Friday. Two messages on the Huntsville subdredit have attracted more than 50 comments.
The installation, on 28 acres in downtown Madison, opened its doors in 2015. The offers included two skating rinks, a climbing wall, an arcade and an outdoor parking.
A call to the phone number of the place did not receive an answer on Friday morning.
