Zag Entertainment, the French animation studio behind the Miraculous: Ladybug and black cat tales Animated series, will establish a new studio in Japan in July. Zag Japan will have Kanji Kazahaya as director of the farm.

The founder of Zag Entertainment, Jeremy Zag, said that the launch of Zag Japan will allow the company “to explore the emotional depth and the artistic beauty of the Japanese narration by developing manga, animated series and traditional animated films”.

Koma Warita And Riku Tsuchida launched a manga adaptation of Miraculous: Ladybug and black cat tales animated series in Kodansha‘s Shonen Sirius monthly Magazine in January 2021.
