The students expressed a mixture of excitement and nerves while they were preparing for their trip to the prestigious competition.

“Nereux and excited at the same time,” said Nathan Aaron Deleon.
“I feel very shocked that I did not know that it would happen. It’s like – it happened so quickly and I am very excited,” said Emma Ybarra.
“I feel nervous,” said Benjamin Bryce Sanchez.
“I feel surprised that I went so far. That is to say that I was able to compete and get there and I am really excited,” said Ryleigh Chavera.
The team will compete on Friday and Saturday at the National Science Bee Competition.
