A rapid technological change exerts new pressures on democratic systems, from Deepfakes to the sphere of information to artificial intelligence systems of Blackbox which make increasingly critical decisions. At the same time, the speed of innovation offers continuous opportunities for scientists and entrepreneurs to build fundamental values in future technologies.
GMF technology has been at the forefront of exploring innovation and technology development affirming democracy, which are intentionally designed to maintain democratic principles such as privacy, transparency and responsibility. The team’s latest report looks at these technologies, which will be at the center of this event. We cordially invite you to join us for the conversation.
The panelists will examine the characteristics of the innovation ecosystems in a democratically spirit, will discuss strategies to promote the development of technologies that support democratic values and explore means to increase access to these innovations.
