(CNN) – George Wendt, an actor and actor who was loved for his performance as Norm Peterson in the longtime comedy series “Cheers”, his family announced.
He was 76 years old.
“George was a beloved family man, a beloved friend and confidant to all those who were lucky to have known him. We will miss it forever. The family asked for privacy during this period,” a family representative said in a statement at CNN.
