Redding, California – The Stillwater Business Park in Redding may soon accommodate a new tenant, because Amazon.com LLC services is under discussion to buy 34 acres of property at 5855 Venture Parkway.
The Redding City Council should discuss the Potential approval of the purchase and sale agreement At their meeting on Tuesday evening.
The proposed sale, worth $ 2,554,500, would see Amazon establishing an execution center on plot 11b, next to a package belonging to Cal-Fire. Unlike a distribution center, an execution center is a little smaller and sends packages directly from Amazon to customers.
The Business Park, which dates back to 2010, consists of 16 ready to use sites for businesses. However, only five packages have been sold to date. The park recently saw its second company, a warehouse by Froto Lay, opened in December.
Although the park has seen the interest of companies in the past, many transactions have dropped or abandoned.
