A national scientific festival for researchers to share their discoveries arrives in a series of pubs in a field of Surrey.
The pint of science takes place through the United Kingdom, including in Guildford, from Monday evening to Wednesday.
More than 15 scientists must discuss subjects such as health, AI and the environment in the city’s pubs.
The non -profit festival, which was launched in 2012, said that its objective was to give a space for researchers and the public to talk about research in a relaxed environment outside of “mysterious laboratories or in dark conference rooms”.
Seven presentations take place in Guildford as part of the event, at the star, at Pews Bar and Courtyard, and at the Wates House Green Hall at the University of Surrey.
The pint of science is organized in 42 cities and cities across the United Kingdom, notably Exeter, Cardiff, Belfast and Aberdeen.
