Independent distribution company Entertainment squad has acquired North American rights of Walter, Grace and the submarineA romantic dramatic written and directed by Noah Bashore which features Kyle Patrick, Jessie Carl and Jonathan Connolly. Lauren Patchett is also part of the distribution.
“Taking up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the film follows Walter, a newcomer to the city, and Grace, who is preparing to leave the city,” according to a film synopsis. “After a fortuitous romantic weekend, they connect them, they bind to traumatic childhoods, unrealized talents and shared experiences. The film explores the themes of connection and self -discovery in a modern Midwest setting. ”
Walter, Grace and the submarine was produced by Gillian Noonan and Kyle Patrick. The film is expected to be released on VOD platforms in the United States and Canada on June 10. Entertainment Squad presents the film to international buyers during Film market in Cannes.
Walter, Grace and the submarine won Carl a prize for the best actor to the big rapid Film Festival.
