Tributes were paid to Martyn Sadler, Jennie Logan and David Chester

Tributes flocked after the death of two firefighters and a 57 -year -old man in a fire in a business park in Oxfordshire.

The firefighters Jennie Logan, 30, and Martyn Sadler, 38, died Thursday in Bicester Motion. The father of two children, David Chester, who worked on the site, was also killed.

Sherine Wheeler, from the charity of the firefighters, told BBC Radio 4 program 4 that it was “a powerful reminder of the courage and the sacrifices shown by the firefighters every day”.

Two other firefighters who suffered serious injuries are aware and in a stable state in the hospital, police said.

Ms. Logan and Mr. Sadler were involved in the women’s team from the Bitster Rugby Union Football Club, who said that “their presence at the club will miss us massively”.

“Our hearts and deepest condolences go to their families, their friends and our members at this terrible moment,” added the club.

The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has offered its condolences. Secretary General Steve Wright said: “Jennie and Martyn died in the exercise of their functions protecting their community.

“They were both beloved and widely respected. We are proud that they were members of our union.”

He said that the FBU would conduct a complete investigation into the incident, adding: “For the moment, we are in mourning for our colleagues and friends.”

The two firefighters worked at the Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and Mr. Sadler was also part of the London Fire Brigade.

The London fire commissioner Andy Roe said that Mr. Sadler “illustrated courage and altruism” and that he had been kept at a bicester fire station.

He was a leading firefighter in Ealing, west of London, and an instructor in respiratory system and fire behavior at the Fire Service College.

An honor guard was formed by 14 firefighters at the Bicester fire station, to accommodate two of the fires sent to the scene.

The firefighters withdrew their helmets and held in two lines while the fire trucks crossed the entrance.

Flowers have also been left to the fire station.

‘Altruistic spirit’

Bicester Motion, which houses more than 50 specialized companies, focused on catering and engineering of conventional cars.

He was previously the command of the Bombardier Raf during the Second World War and became redundant in 2004.

Paying tribute to the “three lives that were lost”, the president of Bicester Motion, Daniel Geoghegan, said that the firefighters had presented “the quintessence of the altruistic service” and had “went beyond in unprecedented circumstances”.

Geoghegan said that the father of two children, Mr. Chester, who headed the family businesses of Chesters & Sons, had “a long history with the field”.

He said that Mr. Chester was “part of the fabric of our domain and a friend to all of us”.

“He joined us 12 years ago when we bought the site for the first time and, with his wife and two sons, was a pillar of our entire business community,” he said.

“Our community used to say that” Dave was always his back “. Yesterday, he was just doing that – the quintessence of his altruistic spirit.”

The CHESTERS & SONS website says that its work in the old RAF base “carefully included four shelters in the war periods buried so as not to damage the structures to allow them to be renovated by another entrepreneur”.

People are now invited to put their flowers in the city’s Garth Park, with a condolence book that would open in Garth House from Monday.

Among the tributes left on the scene, there was a navy blue t-shirt with the words “A21 Paddington London Fire Brigade”.

A card, addressed to the dogs of Mrs. Logan, read: “Jennie, you have always been and will be our” mom “and you will miss more than anyone can know.

“We will see you one day through the rainbow bridge. All our love, Cooper and Barney.”

The fire, reported around 6.30 p.m., quickly spread through an old hinged by plane.

At its peak, 10 fire teams approached the fire.

Fire investigators and Thames Valley police said they are working to establish the cause of the fire.

The deputy chief of the Constable Tim Metcalfe, said: “Our requests for information are underway, but this is a complex survey that can take some time.”

Large plumes of smoke have been filmed from one of the Bacester Motion buildings

Shortly before noon on Saturday, the fire would have been mastered with “no visible flame”.

The council of the county of Oxfordshire, which manages the county fire services, said that there were still “small pockets of smoke and heat” and that the crews remained on the spot “attenuating”.

Ms. Wheeler, speaking on the TODAY program on Saturday, said that the firefighter’s charitable organization had “the heart broken by what happened”.

“The firefighters will work every day knowing that there are risks, but when something like it happens, it brings this reality that really crashes at home,” she said.

A golden plate was placed under the Bicester movement panel at the entrance to the site.

The tribute can be seen as follows: “Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service. Bicester motion. Our thoughts and prayers go to all the people affected by the sad loss of two firefighters and the public member. The love of the community of Bicester.”

Pam Stiddig, who lives nearby and saw the fire, visited Garth Park to lay flowers.

She said, “I came because they are our local heroes. It’s very, very sad.”

The council of the county of Oxfordshire said that he had recognized “people who would perhaps wish to pay tribute”, but exhorted anyone who wanted to put flowers to take them to Garth Park “to avoid obstruction of the highways”.

The park, in Launton Road, is expected to open its doors from 07:30 to 9:00 p.m.

People can also sign the condolence book between Monday and Thursday 09:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The chief of the emotional firefighters is of the “unshakable bravery” of the emergency teams

Friday, on the scene, the chief of the Oxfordshire firefighters, Rob MacDougall, was visibly emotional and spoke with “A Heavy Heart” when he confirmed death.

The deputy chief of the police, Tim Metcalfe, of the Thames Valley police, described deaths as “an absolute tragedy” and said that everyone’s thoughts were with the families, friends and colleagues of those who died.

We expect the officers to stay on the scene for several days to ensure that the public remains safe, said strength.
