WHAT: Graduates of Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine,, Higher School of Biomedical Sciences,, Nursing school,, Dentistry school And Health school professions Will put the scene this Saturday. More than 1,100 students – 946 in May and 216 in summer – are candidates for graduation at Center for Health Sciences at the University of Texas in San Antonio (Ut Health San Antonio), according to the university institutional research office.
The parents, the family, the friends and the faculty and the staff of San Antonio Health will be present, in particular John P. Howe III, MD, president emeritus of Ut Health San Antonio, Francisco G. Cigarroa, MD, Main executive vice president for health affairs and the health system, and Taylor Highmy, Phd, President of the Health of UT San San San San San San San Antonio.

Notes: The Master of Science in Imaging Sciences program of the School of Health Professions celebrates the diploma of 18 students in its first cohort. Designed to develop clinical skills with certifications eligible for the register in x -ray, computed tomography (TDM) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) by the American register of radiological technologists, the new program hosted its first students in the fall of 2023.
Some of the May and summer graduates include:
- 233 candidates for the baccalaureate in nursing sciences (BSN)
- 215 doctoral candidates in medicine (MD)
- 108 doctorate candidates in dental surgery (DDS)
- 48 doctoral candidates in occupational therapy (OTD)
- 45 candidates for the doctor in physiotherapy (DPT)
- 46 candidates for the master’s degree in science in vocal language
- 34 candidates for the doctor in philosophy (PHD) in several disciplines
- 24 candidates for the Master of Science in Respiratory Care Degree
- 23 candidates for the baccalaureate of sciences in dental hygiene
- 18 candidates for mastering the sciences in imaging sciences
- 8 candidates for mastering deaf education and hearing sciences
