EXCLUSIVE: The former leader of Anton John Zois (The night house) and current north.Five.Six. CEO Warren Goz (The elite shooter) launched Parallel 42 Entertainment, a film and television development and television company based in Los Angeles which will focus on motivated projects in trade through action, thriller, science fiction and genres of horror.
Zois, who has spent the last six years to help build a financier and a production company based in the United Kingdom, Anton, will supervise the creative and operational aspects of the New Indie. The film by Parallel 42 will include a mixture of functionalities and series – from low -budget horror to large -scale commercial action – developed for studios, banners, independent partners and cable.
As CEO, Goz will bring its history in production, financing and sales to help guide and support business projects.
The company is currently developing projects with filmmakers, including Brad Anderson (The call, the machinist), the Dowdle brothers (No escape, devil, waco) Michaël R. Roskam (Black bird, drop), Nimród Antal (Predators, vacancy), Jason Winer (Brother of another mother), and Rob Lorenz (In the land of saints and sinners).
The company will seek to work with a range of sales partners on its projects, but will probably have a solid link with North.five.six. Given Goz’s continuous role there.
