LOS ANGELES – DEC 20, 2024– New Orleans, the city that has hosted more Super Bowls than any other, will once again take center stage on Super Bowl Sunday with FOX Sports’ presentation of THE MADDEN CRUISER: A BAYOU ADVENTURE WITH BILL BELICHICK.
First Sunday February 9 at 12:00 p.m. ET on FOX ahead of the network’s Super Bowl LIX pregame show, the hour-long special features eight-time Super Bowl champion Bill Belichick as he travels on the iconic bus ” Hall of Fame legend John Madden’s Madden Cruiser on an unforgettable road trip through Louisiana football country with a host of special guests, including FOX Sports Tom Brady, Michael Strahan And Curt MeneféePro Football Hall of Famers Ed Reed and Ty Law, New Orleans legends Archie Manning and Tyrann Mathieu, and Emmy-winning media personality © Rocsi Diaz.
Their ultimate destination: New Orleans.

Highlighting a journey through Louisiana’s history, culture, food, entertainment and, most importantly, the rich football tradition – all the qualities that make this corner of America so unique – the special broadcast will also commemorate the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, examining how the storm and its aftermath forever transformed New Orleans while inspiring the community to rise up and rebuild stronger than ever. Bringing together legends from the world of sports and beyond, the special highlights why New Orleans holds such a special place in the hearts of so many.
Belichick will be joined by a series of superstar guests, including:
- Tom Brady – FOX NFL Senior Analyst and seven-time Super Bowl winning quarterback, who, alongside Coach Belichick, made history with the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXVI (2002) in New Orleans, pulling off one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history.
- Michael Strahan – FOX NFL SUNDAY pregame analyst, Good Morning America co-host, Super Bowl champion and Pro Football Hall of Fame member
- Curt Menefée – Host of FOX NFL SUNDAY, America’s most-watched NFL pregame show for the past 30 years, and award-winning broadcaster
- Ed Reed – Hall of Fame safety who not only grew up in New Orleans, but also won a Super Bowl at the Superdome as a Raven in the memorable 2013 “blackout” game.
- Ty Law – Hall of Fame cornerback and three-time Super Bowl champion who appeared in two Super Bowls (XXXI and XXXVI) in 1997 and 2002 in New Orleans
- Archie Manning – Two-time Pro Bowler, New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame inductee and the man who defined football in The Big Easy decades before his sons Peyton and Eli (and grandson Arch Manning) are taking the world of football by storm.
- Tyrann Mathieu – New Orleans high school superstar who now plays for his hometown Saints, revisits his high school with Belichick for a pregame speech in front of his former team
- Rocsi Diaz – Emmy®-winning TV host, model, actress and New Orleans native tours the revitalization of the Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina
