Pedestrians walking along the Circle of St. Armands may have recently noticed some bright blue posters teasing a new development on the business epicenter. They boldly proclaim: “To come soon: the Sarasota style.”
At 22, Malia Price is the launch of the launch of a New lifestyle brand focused on Sarasota. She said that the store will include clothing, accessories, coolers, beach towels and all that customers may need to enjoy a day in town or at the beach in style.
She created the “Sunshiney” flagship logo of the store, and the brand aims to celebrate what makes the region such a special place for visitors and residents.
“It is inspired by the beauty and culture of Sarasota,” she said. “I have never been to another place like that. People travel everywhere to see some of the best beaches in the world.”
Malia Price, co -owner of the Sarasota style, is impatiently awaiting the opening of the store on St. Armands Coucle this fall.
The price grew up in Orange Beach, in Alabama, which has its own impressive sugar sandy beaches. After obtaining a diploma in business administration from the University of Auburn, she worked as director general of the Orange Beach store, memories and a gift shop.
She said that the experience of construction and early operating management of the store helped her see the challenge of launching her own business.
“I always knew that I wanted to create something,” she said.
She officially moved to Sarasota a month ago to jump with all my heart to realize her dream of opening the shop.
She owns 50-50 with her partners at Orange Beach. St. Armands dominated the list of locations she visited during a market screening tour she made weeks before Hurricane Helene and Milton landed along the coast.
The price has not been discouraged, moving forward with the launch of the company. Ideally, she hopes to open the store by September, but many tasks are in advance to transform the empty space into a jumping place with Sarasota fashion that she plans.
“Right now, it’s an empty shell with concrete blocks,” she said, although she painted an image of a chic space with wall screens and catchy goods.

Malia Price, co -owner of the opening of the Sarasota style store on St. Armands Circle, said the store will include stickers, coolers, clothing and more.
In addition to its own brand clothes, the Price store will also present products by local craftsmen, she said.
Although there are many milestones, Price is looking forward to celebrating the journey. She said that she was most impatiently foreseening was to take advantage of the opening day with her family.
The shop is located on the main circle, next to Crab & end, on the old site of Tilden Ross Jewelers. Price said that she was encouraged to see neighboring companies continue to reopen and invigorate the Circle of Saint-Armands, and she is also looking forward to bringing her energy in the region.
