Dordt University Athletics won the 2024-25 All-Sports trophy, according to the announcement of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) conference on the final GPAC price classification. This is the second time that Dordt has asserted the trophy entirely of the conference sports.

Dordt University Athletics won four championships in total of the conference while placing 10 teams in the top four in the GPAC ranking. The conference championships were won by male cross-country, female cross-country, women’s basketball and male basketball.
“Successs like this are not possible without the support of our administration and the university community working together to allow us to pursue the championships and to direct and guide enormous students. The GPAC is a great conference, and competition with its members forces us to be our best in each competition.
The year also had the success on the national defenders’ stage, while the female basketball team said the second consecutive national championship of the NAIA program, the male basketball team qualified for the National NAIA championship, the female and male teams of Cross Country contributed to the national NAIA championship and to the national and male and male champion teams in the athletics room.
The year has also included two Dordt coaches appointed coach of the year GPAC.
The GPAC All-Sports ranking is also broken down between the offers of women and men. Dordt ranked first to GPAC in female sports and second in male sports. Dordt said that the All-Sports trophy in 2022-2023 and its best previous finish in the All-Sports ranking was in 2021-2022 when the defenders claimed third. The overall race was decided by less than a placement point with Concordia finishing second.
The success of the defender program was not only limited to GPAC with the hockey program claiming the Macha qualifier tournament championship and a trip to the national championship event of division III Achant. The men’s volleyball team competed for the first time at the Heart of America conference and obtained a place in the league playoff tournament. The male and female swimming teams participated in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) during the inaugural season of the program and the dance team won the open division at the Collar College in Orlando, Florida, in April.
